Gunpla Pre-orders and New Releases for May-June 2023

I’m putting this list out late this month because my priorities are not in order. Another sign I need to fix my life: I’m currently three episodes behind on Gundam: The Witch From Mercury and I hear it’s about to get absolutely devastating (as if it wasn’t already)! It’s one thing to be behind on a show, but some G-Witch fans were briefly ahead when Amazon accidentally streamed episode 18 a day early. All caught up? Check out the new Gundam 00 CG project, Episode Astraea II, which is available to stream on Gundam.info’s YouTube channel. 

On the Gunpla front, I only found one new release for May 2023, based on the Cucuruz Doan’s Island film. They’re really mining the original for every possible story right now: there’s even a new Gundam manga centering on a character who appears only in episode 28 of Mobile Suit Gundam named Flanagan Boon. Gunpla New Releases for May 2023

Thanks to the new Cucuruz Doan’s Island movie (now streaming on Crunchyroll), there is a new version of the classic Guncannon. The modernized kit makes poseability the priority, with the ability to crouch or even lie down to shoot, perfect for guerilla combat dioramas.
