Gunpla Pre-orders and New Releases for November 2015

Christmas shopping didn’t used to be so perilous. I would make a list of presents for my family and head off to the mall. Now, I do most of my shopping on Amazon, and poor Amazon, thinking I’m shopping for myself like usual, helpfully places Gunpla suggestions on every page. I’m afraid I’m going to end up buying more for myself than my family and friends!

Amidst my browsing, I found a bunch of new Gunpla that got released while the rest of us were enjoying Thanksgiving turkey, plus a bunch of cool pre-orders for this month. It’s clear that Iron-Blooded Orphans models are really coming out in droves! Take a look at all the new Gunpla that’s come out, and happy holiday shopping!

This post is our eleventh installment of featuring new releases and pre-orders for your reference. You can browse January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August and September, and October.

New Releases for November 2015

1/100 Gundam Barbatos

It’s Barbatos from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans! With few accessories and a fairly simple frame, this is one of the most basic Master Grades we’ve ever seen. Update: this isn’t a Master Grade at all! Thanks for the tip, Nanochi! If it weren’t for the ridiculously low price ($30), I’d say wait for the next iteration.

Now that’s more like it! The nicest, most modern and poseable version of the first Gundam that money can buy. It’s the Gundam: The Origin version and it looks slick.

HGUC Gundam MK-II (Titans)

It’s nice to see so many older models being recreated with modern construction, like this Zeta Gundam. The rich blue color would look great with a little top coat.

HGUC Gundam MK-II (A.E.U.G.)

Another version of the Mark II, this time with the Anti-Earth Union Group coloring. It’d be cool to build both of these models and display them together.

HGBF Super Fumina (pictured at top)

Well this is a conversation piece, to say the least! (Unless you show it to Fumina, who will probably be left speechless.) Half Gunpla, half anime figure, this is a true original.

HG Graze Kai

This Iron-Blooded Orphans suit looks like it wants to “axe” you a few questions. But seriously when is the last time you’ve seen axe-wielders in a Gundam show? Heat hawks count, I think.

HG Hyakuri

Definitely one of the more bizarre Iron-Blooded Orphans suits. Every time I see a really weird suit (like anything from G-Reco) it makes me think of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

The pastel blues and curvy shape make this an unusual piece. I think it’s neat that they made these suits look so womanly to mimic the entirely female crew who pilot them.

HG MS Option Set 2 & CGS Mobile Worker

Now that so many Iron-Blooded Orphans suits are out, it’s time to get to customizing with this kit especially designed for this latest generation of Gunpla.

  • Heya! Wanted to give a quick mention on the barbaros 1/100. This actully wont be a MG kit as bandai decided it would be too expensive/difficult to make it a full master grade with the full inner frame as it should be, so they made this a No grade/RE grade kit, hence the low low price of it.
