December is prime Gunpla-building season. At least where I am, it’s cold enough to make a day off spent inside building a much more preferable activity. Ideally, with a mug of hot chocolate.
Turns out it’s also Gunpla shopping season, too. Several Gunpla sellers, like Hobbylink Japan, are having holiday sales. And Bandai, in turn, is still churning out new models. Take a look at November’s releases and what’s coming out this December below:
New Releases for November 2018
HGUC Narrative Gundam A-Packs (pictured at top)
Much like the full-armor version of Gundam Unicorn, this is Narrative Gundam with all the fixins’. A-Packs has twin beam sabers, a massive missile launcher, and more. If you’re wondering what could make an HG so pricey, it’s the sheer amount of giant gimmicks in this kit.
Yes, Gundam Build Divers models are still coming out. This is a basic patrol unit used to keep the peace in the Build Divers universe. Choose between blue or black transparent parts.
Sarah didn’t want Riku to go into Trans-Am for ages—probably so they could end the series with one final awesome-looking Gunpla kit. The purple plastic lightly shimmers and the whole thing comes with its own base, which is rare for High Grade models.
Hailing from the MSV-R line, this is an alternate version of the GM Sniper Custom designed for space combat. It’s differentiated mainly by its lavender color scheme.
High-Resolution Model Gundam Astray Red Frame
Year after year, versions of the Astray are some of Bandai’s top sellers in the west, despite the fact that its manga has been out of print in English for over a decade. This is one of the suit’s most elaborate iterations yet, a 1/100 with cherry red die-cast parts.
