This monthly shopping guide begins with a very special announcement as John and I welcome our tiny Gundam pilot to the world! Eva Artesia was born on September 4 and we could not be happier to meet her. She doesn’t have a favorite Gundam series yet, but it’s only a matter of time.
We are already counting the days until she can build a Gunpla kit with us, and have already bought her a Petit Beargguy in Trans-Am Red. As we answered in a previous Ask Gunpla 101 advice column, we think around six years old is the right age for a kid’s first supervised build.

I can’t believe Gundam SEED Destiny is 15 years old! To commemorate the anniversary, Lunamaria’s custom Zaku has been made into a Master Grade for the first time. The mix of standard Zaku pink with glossy crimson details makes for a good-looking kit.
This year, we did things a little differently at Gunpla 101. For the last 10…
Can you believe it’s been nearly 10 YEARS since Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans? Even…
How well do you really know the Gundam industry? After years of buying Gundam model…
Here at Gunpla 101, we love checking out upcoming releases to anticipate which Gunpla kits…
